Christmas Carnage
December 10, 2010
Cypress, TX - VFW 8905

Pre-show

  • Match #1 - Rojo Grande vs. Hambone
    • Hambone wins with a heavyweight powerbomb.

Main Show

**Before the first match ACH and Jasper Davis come out to the ring.  After some jawjacking back and forth, it is decided that for tonight's matches only Davis will choose ACH's opponent and ACH will choose Jasper's opponent.

  • Match #2 - Career vs. Dress Match
  • "Primetime" Ricky Douglas vs. The Clown
    • This is a Career vs. Dress Match.  If Douglas wins The Clown has to retire from wrestling.  If The Clown wins Douglas has to wrestle future matches in drag.
    • Silky Baines accompanies Douglas to the ring.
    • I am reasonably certain that this was the first time I have ever heard a "Juggle our balls" chant.
    • Baines holds down The Clown's legs on a Douglas pin attempt thereby preventing the kick out.  Douglas wins the match.  That was genuinely a surprise, I don't think anyone expected Douglas to win.
    • As ring announcer Tony Brooklyn reminds the crowd of what was at stake here, the locker room empties out and the wrestlers surround the ring.
    • The Clown removes his mask.  It's Dusty Wolfe of course.
    • The wrestlers start a "Thank you Dusty!" chant.  It's unfortunate that the WoW crowd is predominately kids and their non-wrestling watching parents as they are unaware of Dusty Wolfe's legacy in professional wrestling.
  • Match #3 - ACH vs. Jaykus Plisken
    • Plisken is the opponent Jasper Davis picked for ACH.
    • Tony Brooklyn announces that this match has a 10 minute time limit so right there you know it is more than likely going to end in a draw.
    • ACH seems to be in trouble after jumping off the apron and landing on Plisken's shoulders but somehow manages to pull of the headscissors giving Jaykus a nice posting.
    • Low ceiling and all, ACH hits a 2nd rope 450 splash on Plisken.
    • As the time is being counted down, Plisken is trying to submit ACH but cannot make him tap.
    • The crowd chants for "Five more minutes".
    • As the last minute of the extra time is winding down, Plisken again is trying to submit ACH when for some reason the referee calls for the bell.  Brooklyn announces that the referee has declared this match "no contest".
    • Postmatch, ACH is helped to the back.  He appears to be favoring his wrist.
  • Match #4 - Jasper Davis vs. "Backdraft" Chris Lee
    • Why ACH would pick Chris Lee to face Davis is a mystery beyond all compare.
    • Davis wrestles with Lee for a few minutes and then takes a powder getting himself counted out.
  • Match #5 - WoW Womens Championship Match
  • Barbi Hayden vs. (c) Jen Alise
    • Brooklyn announces this match has a 15 minute time limit.
    • Finding herself in a standing fireman's carry Barbi manages to secure a crucifix double arm bar.  Unfortunately for her (Barbi), Jen counters that with a Samoan drop.
    • Jen Alise seems to have forgotten her manners as she is slapping, pulling hair, and even trying to strangle Barbi.
    • After Brooklyn announces "30 seconds left", Jen Alise counters a top rope sunset flip into a prawn hold.  Barbi is able to roll Jen back into a rana invertida and gets the three count.  Barbi Hayden is the new WoW Womens Champion.
  • Match #6- WoW Tag Team Championship Match
  • The Crusaders: PopN & Lock vs. (c) Impeccable: Joey Figueroa & Ken Carson
    • The new Womens champ Barbi Hayden accompanies Impeccable to the ring.
    • After hitting a nice flying knee into the corner on Carson, PopN climbs to the top rope and promptly crotches himself.
    • Carson hits a top rope Frankensteiner on Lock.
    • A minute or so later Carson jumps off the top rope for a dropkick and breaks the ceiling.
    • Joey hits a big powerslam on PopN for the win.  Impeccable retains the titles.
    • Postmatch, both teams make nice.
  • Match #7 - WoW Heavyweight Championship Match
  • Chaz Taylor vs. (c) "Solid Gold" Greg Symonds
    • Chaz looks very strong early.
    • Scot Summers comes to ringside carrying a metallic looking briefcase.
    • As Symonds has Chaz powered back into a corner the referee goes in between to force the break, allowing Summers to come up on the apron and nail Symonds in the head with the briefcase. Summers tosses the briefcase to a confused Chaz.  The referee sees Chaz with the case and calls for the bell.
    • Symonds retains on the DQ, Chaz chases Summers to the back.
  • Main Event - Christmas Rumble
  • 18 Contestant Rumble for Texas Outlaw Title
    • Rumble rules: two men start, new man enters every 60 seconds, elimination by being thrown over the top rope with both feet touching the floor.

    • ACH is eliminated by Jasper Davis.
    • Jasper Davis is eliminated by Silky.
    • Rojo Grande enters.
    • Ciclope Jr. enters.
    • Jaykus Plisken enters.
    • David Stahr is eliminated by Summers.
    • Chris Lee enters.
    • Jen Alise enters.
    • Big Chris enters.
    • Ciclope Jr. is eliminated by Plisken and Summers via atomic wedgie.
    • Chris Lee is eliminated by Scot Summers.
    • Rojo Grande is eliminated by Summers and Jen Alise.
    • Big Chris is eliminated by Silky and Scot Summers.
    • Jen Alise is brutally slammed by both Plisken and Summers before being unceremoniously dumped over the top by Plisken.
    • Plisken eliminated via low bridge by Silky.
    • Hambone is eliminated by Scot Summers.
    • Only the two men who started the rumble remain, Silky Baines and Scot Summers.
    • Greg Symonds comes to ringside and taunts Summers who responds with a pescado, and ends the rumble (and loses his title) by eliminating himself.
    • Postmatch, Summers is beating down on Symonds, Cupid and Hambone come to help but Summers takes them out as well. Chaz leads out a charge of the locker room to chase Summers out the front door.
